Bollox in stock trim in 2002 (with a few factory accessories)

Crows Nest Highway, between Creston and Salmo, BC, 07/2010

My first 2002 Triumph Bonneville America, purchased new in March, 2002, at Mike Tingley’s in Missoula, MT.  This was my first bike. Originally it was outfitted as my all around touring bike, but around 2007 I decided to start stripping it down and blacking things out. I’ve been doing my own maintenance since 2005, for good or ill, and there have been some big time screw ups with the wrenches in my hands…

Summary of Major Changes from Stock

Currently installed (I’ve installed and removed far too much to list, much of which is now on Reboot). See my bike gallery for pictures.

  • Airbox removed
  • Battery relocated under seat
  • Blacked out front end with fork gators and Speedmaster fender
